I love Buffy, and grew up wanting to be her, but there was always one thing that annoyed me. Yes, Spike did some bad things, and yes, she loved Angel first, but Angel was only good with his soul. As amazing as Angel was, let’s not forget how horrible he was without a soul. There was nothing to do but kill him. But Spike, he loved Buffy even without his soul and went into the depths of hell to kill a very powerful demon to retrieve his soul. How do you not love that? How was she never able to love him? Don’t get me wrong, I love Angel, but Spike will always be my favorite.
